About The Appeal
Our Aims and Objectives
The Jenny Chant Appeal has set out some admirable aims and objectives, so any
money that is donated or is accumulated from the scarves will be put to good use.
These aims are detailed below:
1.To raise awareness of the need to have mammograms to aid early detection in both
men and women
2.To facilitate education of the disease and also methods on self examination to help
men and women from around the world to detect the signs of the disease.
3.To provide support or funds to help impoverished men and women to get access to
mammogram's in poor or developing countries and follow on support.
Fundraising and current projects
We need to raise funds to help with these aims and objectives, one of the fund raising
efforts currently is to knit the worlds longest pink scarf.
What will we do with the longest scarf in the world?
We have a number of ideas on how to use these scarves once the world record is broken
namely:
1.Sew them together to make baby blankets
2.Sew them together and make adult blankets
3.Used as scarves or head wear in cold climates
Why not sell items or donate through Ebay. We are registered look for us.
