What to do:
The pattern is quite simple; you will need:

Materials:
•3 x 50g balls of double knit pink (any colour pink will do) wool
•1 pair of number 9 UK, 3.75mm Metric or number 6 US, knitting needles
•Pair of scissors
•Large sewing needle
•a dash of enthusiasm

The Pattern:
1.Make sure you have the above materials to hand
2.Cast on 52 stitches using the pink wool
3.First row: knit one purl one to end of the row
4.Turn needles and continue knitting plain and purl
5.Continue until you have used all 3 balls of wool
6.You should have a length of approximately 2 meters or 78 inches
7.Cast off your stitches
8.Sew in the loose pieces of wool using sewing needle

Alternative / Beginners Pattern
This is a pattern using the above materials, but is a little simpler.

Beginners Pattern
1.Make sure you have all the materials to hand
2.Cast on 32 stitches
3.Knit garter stitch (only plain)
4.Continue until you have a length of 2 meters or 78 inches
5.Cast off
6.Sew in the loose pieces
